Imagine.

After a long happy day, you’re walking on a beautiful empty street on a chilly evening with someone you have feelings for, but you haven’t told them yet.

There’s a little wind in the air and the trees are rustling a bit. You bump into them while walking.

You start to hold hands naturally and walk really close to each other (you are blushing)

Your eyes meet and your heart is slowly starting to beat faster. 🫀

Lup dup……...…lup dup……..……lup dup……..….lup dup…lup dup…lup dup…lup dup..lup dup..lupduplupduplupdup…

You come closer and closer to each other. Your breathing becomes heavier.

You’re feeling fluttery and excited right now.

Lup.dup.lup.dup.lup.dup…..

Then you wake up. ⏰

I’ve been thinking about relationships these few days and wondered what it means to get into one.

For me, I need to be attracted to you, I need you to be honest with what your thoughts are, I need to be able to do things with you (wink wink), I need to be able to talk to you about projects I’m working on, or things that you’re interested in, and I need to feel free with you. 😌

I realised that to meet someone that meets your standards, you need to become the person that meets your own standards.

(WOW! that is a great line. somebody please quote me somewhere) 🤯

And forcing yourself into a relationship just cause you feel like you need someone to close the gap in your heart in a hurry will lead to short term happiness, but long term regret.

The best way to find someone who you’ll like is to become someone who you’ll like.

💪 Do interesting things,

😄 Make people feel good,

🎯 Focus on your projects,

🙌 Share happiness,

⛰️ Have big goals,

🫂 Love people for who they are,

❌ Cut out people who are not a positive influence on you, and

👫 Form a circle that feeds on each others positive traits.

Do you think with a circle like that, you would not find someone that you’d wanna spend a looong time with? or wouldn’t someone from the group hook you up with people they think would be a good match for you?

To form such a group, you need to become the thing that you like others to be.

This was the conclusion I came to.

Maybe I’m wrong. But I’m damn sure I’m right.

Anyways, I finished the drawing I was making last weekend and I really like it. I made her feet ugly tho 😩
